  At the last minute (4weeks before) we were told by a friend they were unable to have our dog while we went away, so we put our beloved dog into Roxton Kennels. It didnt look the best when we dropped him off, but hoped it would be ok. We took his own bed, towel and toys which we were told was ok to do. We got back into Gloucester at around 18.15pm, some 15 minutes after closing and after speaking with a lady at 17.15 to arrange pick up was told we couldnt collect him that evening as they have things to do and were closing at 18.00pm. Ive never put my dog into kennels before and we tried our hardest to get home to get stuck in holiday traffic, hence making us late. For the sake of 15 minutes, my dog had to spend an uneccesary night in the kennels. I do totally understand that close is close, but do not appreciate the rude manner in which I was told!! When we picked our dog up he was underweight and hed obviously not been given his toys, still brand new and stunk of urine. Never ever will I use them again. NEVER.
